सचिन ने भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच खेले जा रहे पहले टेस्ट मैच में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व कप्तान एलन बार्डर के 11,174 रन के रिकार्ड को पार कर लिया है। अब सचिन से आगे केवल वेस्टइंडीज के बल्लेबाज ब्रायन लारा हैं। सचिन ने अभी तक भारतीय क्रिकेट के इतिहास में कई ऐसे मुकाम हासिल किए हैं जिन पर हर भारतीय क्रिकेटर नाज है। उनके खेल को देखकर एक बार खुद ऑस्ट्रेलिया के महान खिलाड़ी डॉन ब्रेडमैन ने कहा था कि वे सचिन की बल्लेबाजी में खुद की झलक देखते है।

Hmm...thats really great..I hv seen wat sunil said....but i think Mr. Sunil has to review his informations and knowledge about Sachin...If sachin use to play for himself thn hw cud he stay in the team so longer. If he has to play for himself then why this tym he never decreases his strike rate after he reached 80s or 90s ... Anyways, no doubt he is sound player wid sound tehcnique................
