i thing the decesion of nobel commette is wrong. but i thing power get this award.
Mr. Obama is certainly an overachiever. He is sometimes called the Orator-in-Chief in the US media. He can hypnotize the crowd but his actions are not that convincing.
I talked to many American friends yesterday and most of them said he could get it after 2-3 years but not now.
Wall Street News says...

Said John Bolton, who served as ambassador to the United Nations under former President George W. Bush: "It is indicative of the politicization of the Nobel Peace Prize process. This just carries it to the n-th degree."
So, following the trend, we can expect believe Kim Il Jung-II or Mahmoud Ahmednizad (they are also trying to establish peace, though through some other means) for will also be given a Nobel Prize some day.

अवॉर्ड हमेशा से बिकाऊ और मैनेज रहे हैं, फिर वह चाहे कोई छोटा सा स्कूल में मिलने वाला पुरस्कार हो या फिर नोबल। लेकिन अगर ओबामा को यह पुरस्कार दिया गया है तो इस पर हल्ला मचाना किसी भी तरह से ठीक नहीं। इससे बेहत ऑपशन कोई और हो नहीं सकता था।
किसी अश्वेत के लिए अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति पद पर आसीन होना ही काफी नहीं है क्या। जो लोग समय और सालों के काम की दुहाई दे रहे हैं वह इस निराशावादी समय में क्वालिटी ऑफ वर्क पर ध्यान दें। अब काम करने के लिए जिस तरह समय का इंतजार नहीं किया जा सकता उस तरह पीठ थपथपाने के लिए भी समय का इंतजार और सालों की तपस्या की बजाए केवल ये देखा जाए की इंसान में कैलीबर है कि नहीं।
बाकी लोगों ने 25-30 साल किसी क्षेत्र में काम करने के बाद यह उपलब्धि पाई।ओबामा ने 25-30 दिनों के अंदर ही नॉमिनेशन हासिल कर लिया।बाकी लोगों ने पूरे जीवन कठिन संघर्ष करके,कष्टदायी यातनाएं सह कर राष्ट्र नायक का दर्जा पाया।ओबामा ने राष्ट्रपति हैं, कष्ट सहे हैं देश के लिए नहीं खुद का करियर बनाने के लिए...
अब जिस पुरस्कार को पूरे जीवन काम करने के बाद मिलना चाहिए... वह शुरू में ही मिल गया... अब खुद ही बताइए उनके जीवन में क्या प्रेरणा बची...
ओबामा ऑब्लाइज हुए, नोबेल के कर्ता—धर्ता धन्य हुए। अब हमें गांधीजी या किसी भी महान भारतीय के लिए कभी भी नोबेल की अपेक्षा और मांग नहीं करनी चाहिए। नोबेल इस लायक नहीं रहा।
मुझे लगता है कि किसी हद तक ओबामा के प्रयास विश्वशांति की स्थापना में महत्वपूर्ण थे लेकिन इतने भी नहीं थे कि मात्र नौ माह की अवधि में इसका निर्णय किया जा सके। जबकि महात्मा गांधी जैसी हस्ती को उनके 50 साल तक काम करने पर भी यह कमेटी नोबल शांति पुरस्कार के लायक नहीं मान पाई थी। शायद बेहद गलत निर्णय जो इस अवार्ड का स्तर गिराएगा।
नोबेल पुरस्कार देने वाली कमेटी पर ही बड़ा प्रश्नचिन्ह लग गया है. हम अब तक इसको सवोच्च सम्मान वाला पुरस्कार मानते थे लेकिन ओबामा को नोबल देने के बाद तो हद ही हो गई.

अमेरिका का बरसों से दोगला खेल रहा है,बाकी दुनिया इस खेल में सिर्फ दर्शक की भूमिका में है। खैर, हमारे देश के परमाणु परीक्षण पर क्रंदन कर चुके अमेरिका के स्वयं के हथियारों में ओबामा ने क्या कमी की है? आज तो विश्व यह जानना चाहता है। यदि प्रमुख सैन्य जर्नल्स और किताबों पर निगाहें डालें तो पता चलता है कि ओबामा के नेतृत्व में वॉशिंगटन के पास आज 5500 से अधिक वॉरहेड्स हैं। यानी शक्तिशाली संहारक- परमाणु हथियारों और बमों- का सक्रिय जखीरा। और तिस पर वे बने हुए हैं हथियारों को समाप्त करने के अभियान के सिरमौर।
